Accessing Your Medical Record

Medical records hold information about you. They are sometimes called your health records.

How to get your GP record:

There are 2 simple ways to get access to your GP record.

1. Request online services at your surgery. You will need to prove who you are. We will then give you a username and a temporary password. Once you log in for the first time you will be prompt to change the temporary password to one you will remember. This will give you access to your records, to book certain appointments and order repeat prescriptions.

2. NHS App. You can get your GP record by logging into your account using the NHS app or NHS website. You will need to register for online services and prove who you are. You can do this when you create an account. You will need to ask your GP surgery for online access to your full record or you'll only see medicines and allergies.
