Working outside of the NHS contract the Partners at the East Shore Partnership do undertake Private Medical Work. However it is important to understand that this work is not undertaken as part of the NHS contract we work to.
As such Private work is chargeable to the patient with the payment being required before any work is started. The charges vary and are always subject to change but will be inline with the recommended rates at that time.
Please ensure that the timescale is suitable before you commit your payment as refunds will not be possible once your request is underway. As this is not NHS work the timescales you may be waiting could be impacted by other factors for example the GP Partner being on leave. Please be patient with your request.
Please be aware you will need Photo ID to collect any paperwork or report from the practice. This is photographic ID or two forms of non-photographic ID such as utility bill, bank statements, etc. We do not accept mobile phone contracts as proof of ID. If someone is collecting on your behalf please be aware they will need their ID and the patient’s ID (hard copy only).
